SimpleX Network Consortium is being launched to ensure network independence and neutrality by moving protocol governance away from a single company to a foundation with a perpetual agreement.
Community crowdfunding is proposed to fund the network's development and governance, using a model called private Community Credits to avoid surveillance and maintain business independence.
The release also includes improvements in user connection setup, security for web links, and other enhancements, with plans for more relay operators in future updates.
