The project is a fun lazy Saturday activity after a busy week, where an ESP32-C3 and 1.28-inch round display create a live aircraft radar using ADS-B data.
The build required light soldering, but was easy and quick (about 15 minutes) using silicone wires and browser-based ESPHome flashing.
The original 3D model from Makerworld looked good but had tight tolerances, so a replacement model was printed.
