Waveloop is a music visualizer created with Fable 5 that reveals harmonic and melodic structure through a chromatic circle representation.
It uses a spiral stacked histogram to show pitch classes, with colors representing octaves (blues/greens for bass, oranges/reds for mids, golds/skies for treble).
Intervals are displayed as angles, and chord qualities are identifiable by shape; transposition rotates shapes, while inversion leaves them unchanged.
The visualizer operates offline with precomputed CQT but also includes a live mic mode for real-time chord detection.
Fable generated dense, technical code with literary elements, and helped create an explainer video after iterative feedback to improve narration and visuals.
