- A journaling method designed for people with ADHD or VAST to manage thoughts and tasks by visualizing the mind as a garden of roses (meaningful tasks) and thorns (unfinished work, guilt).
- Key steps include brain dumping all tasks and emotions, assessing which items are turning into thorns, assigning 2-3 tasks for the day, and reviewing progress every few days without rigid daily requirements.
- Use a companion page for real-time thought management to note interruptions and reduce impulsivity, alongside practices like gentle intention setting and identifying triggers for invasive distractions.
- The goal is not perfection but reducing chaos, celebrating small wins, and working with the brain's natural rhythms through self-compassion and flexible structure.
