- CEO pay has grown over 1,000% in four decades while worker pay stagnated, despite productivity gains.
- Companies often lay off workers and cite 'AI efficiency' while keeping executives and raising their pay.
- OverpAId is a satirical AI designed to replace CEOs entirely, running on a single desktop computer for $4,699.
- The AI can make strategic decisions in milliseconds, reads full reports, and requires no private jet or golden parachute.
- The piece criticizes corporate jargon, return-to-office mandates tied to real estate, and the double standard in severance packages.
- OverpAId redistributes its own budget to employees, contrasting with typical executive compensation.
- The text notes that jobs involving direct human contact (nurses, teachers) are harder to replace than abstract executive roles.
- It highlights the accountability gap: an AI cannot be sued or fired, unlike a human executive.
- The article is satirical and not a real product, but uses real data on pay disparity and technology costs.
