- FRAKTA bags, originally designed for carrying IKEA purchases, have become versatile tools used globally by various groups like apple pickers and dog owners.
- Ingvar Kamprad's 1986 initiative to improve customer experience led to the creation of a durable, large bag, tested in Taiwan with a 50 kg weight capacity.
- Initially yellow, the bag evolved into the blue FRAKTA to resolve checkout confusion, and has inspired limited editions and luxury fashion designs.
- The bag's popularity stems from IKEA's principles of functionality, quality, design, and affordability, making it a beloved icon for all.
