uBlock Origin Lite is back on Firefox add-ons
5 hours ago
- uBlock Origin Lite (uBOL) is an MV3-based content blocker that blocks ads, trackers, miners, and more upon installation.
- The default ruleset includes uBlock Origin's built-in filter lists, EasyList, EasyPrivacy, and Peter Lowe’s Ad and tracking server list, with additional rulesets available via the options page.
- uBOL operates entirely declaratively, with no permanent process needed for filtering; it consumes CPU/memory only when interacting with the popup panel or options pages.
- The extension requires permission to block content on any page and optionally access data for all websites, but does not require data collection.
