By 2026, CXMT aims to produce 350,000 DRAM wafers per month, approaching Micron Technology's output of 375,000 WPM.
Long-term plans include tripling baseline output to 600,000 WPM across multiple sites in Shanghai and Hefei.
Most of CXMT's expanded output will be consumed domestically by Chinese hyperscale cloud providers, smartphone makers, robotics, and AI labs, offering limited relief to global supply chains.
