- Apple has raised the price of Apple Music in the US and other countries, with the Individual plan now costing $11.99/month (up from $10.99).
- The Family plan increased to $19.99/month (from $16.99), and the Student plan to $6.99/month (from $5.99).
- Apple One bundles also saw price increases: Family now $27.95/month (up from $25.95) and Premier $39.95/month (up from $37.95), while the Individual bundle remains $19.95.
- Apple cited rising licensing costs as the reason for the price increase, which is the first for Apple Music in nearly four years (last hike was October 2022).
- Spotify also raised prices earlier this year; despite the increase, Apple Music remains cheaper than Spotify.
