- Numeric .xyz domains (6–9 digits) cost $0.99/year fixed forever, with over 1.1 billion combinations available.
- Advantages: extremely low cost, high availability, no trademark conflicts, wildcard support, free Let's Encrypt certificates via DNS-01, and full independence.
- Usage: set the numeric domain as root, use Cloudflare DNS with wildcard, and run cloudflared tunnel for outbound connectivity without public IP or port forwarding.
- Cons: domain is ugly and unmemorable, .xyz has a spam/phishing reputation, and it's unsuitable for serious production use facing third parties.
