- Elon Musk launched a furious attack on filmmaker Alex Gibney, calling him a 'bitter old man' with 'zero integrity' after Gibney's four-hour documentary about Musk premiered at the Venice Film Festival.
- Gibney described Musk as 'extremely dangerous' and said he encountered a 'sense of fear' among people he interviewed for the film, speculating that Musk's traumatic childhood in South Africa influences his current behavior.
- Musk posted on X that the documentary is a 'hit piece that misses' and 'boring af,' and promoted a conspiracy theory linking the Democratic Party, George Soros, and Gibney as puppets in a chain.
- Musk denied a claim from ex-partner Ashley St Clair that his team offered her $40 million for an NDA, calling it false, and his lawyer threatened to sue Gibney for defamation.
- Podcaster Katie Miller, wife of Trump advisor Stephen Miller, defended Musk, calling the documentary a 'hit job' and claiming key people who know Musk did not participate.
