USGS launches interactive maps of real-time streamflow conditions

USGS New England Water Science Center launched two interactive map tools showing streamgage water conditions via color coding.
The 'Monthly Streamflow Conditions in New England' app colors gages to show if monthly flows are normal, above normal, or below normal compared to historical data.
This tool helps public and decision-makers assess drought and flood risks using color scales from red (below normal) to blue (above normal).
A second tool compares Maine streamflows to seasonal aquatic baseflow standards set by state law to protect aquatic life.
The Maine map uses colors to show if flows meet, are below, or exceed 120% of required baseflows, aiding ecological risk management.
Both tools are available on the USGS New England Water Conditions Explorer page.

Land Atlas automatically captures property listings from land marketplaces and scores them with government-grade data.
