I got tired of never knowing what ports are running, so I built WhatThePort

- WhatThePort is a free, open-source macOS menu bar app for managing dev servers, requiring macOS 14 or later and no account.
- It shows what each server is, its branch, which AI agent started it, and its resource cost, allowing one-click stopping of forgotten servers.
- Integrates with Claude Code, Codex, Conductor, and Vercel to resume sessions, check branches, or open previews directly.
- Alerts you when a server exceeds 2 GB or grows 500 MB in 10 minutes, and flags crashed, hung, or failed preview builds.
- Clean up feature selects servers from deleted worktrees or idle hours, stopping entire process trees; Postgres and Redis are protected by default.
- Includes a terminal TUI (`wtp`) with commands like `wtp list` and `wtp list --json` for scripts and agents.
- Supports multiple languages (English, German, French, Spanish, Simplified Chinese, Hebrew, Japanese, Ukrainian) with right-to-left layouts for Hebrew.
- Built natively in Swift, no Electron, no Dock icon, private (nothing leaves your Mac), and offers a shortcut key.
- The menu bar shows two white dots when all is well, turning amber for warnings, giving quick visual status.
