Hijacking the PS5's RTMP Stream

- PS5 restricts streaming to supported services like Twitch/YouTube and doesn't support Discord; capture cards are expensive.
- Remote Play works but has input lag, requires connecting devices to the remote device, and stream quality is controlled by PS5.
- PS5 uses RTMP/RTMPS to stream; it resolves Twitch ingest hostnames via DNS each time.
- Spoofing ingest.twitch.tv fails because it's a discovery endpoint and Twitch uses RTMPS with certificate validation; YouTube stops after 60 seconds due to API checks.
- The fix is to spoof DNS for contribute.live-video.net (the actual RTMP ingest domain) to point to the Mac's IP using dnsmasq.
- Configure dnsmasq to resolve Twitch ingest domains to Mac's LAN address and assign Mac as DNS for PS5 via DHCP option 6 on the router.
- Use nginx-rtmp on the Mac to receive the stream on port 1935; an on_publish callback notifies the app and provides the RTMP URL.
- The stream can be pulled into OBS or mpv (with low-latency profile) and shared to Discord, proving reliable in use.
