- Purchased M4 Mac mini gambling on Asahi Linux support, faced new SPTM security hardening complicating boot.
- Modified m1n1 to skip locked registers (GXF, RVBAR) and added debug_putc to bisect boot failures.
- Fixed UART output issue by adding MMIO 1:1 mapping in page tables and commenting out problematic CPU register write.
- Resolved WFI instruction causing register zeroing by replacing WFI/WFIT with NOP, allowing all cores to boot.
- Workarounds merged into mainline Linux and m1n1; future work on peripheral drivers and upstream solutions.
