Tree Style Tab

Tree Style Tab (TST) organizes browser tabs into collapsible tree structures, where new tabs opened from a current tab become its children.
Users can fold branches by clicking arrows on parent tabs to manage visible clutter, and restructure trees via drag and drop.
TST serves as a visual browsing history, allowing deep navigation without losing context, with each tree reflecting a topically related group of tabs.
The extension requires permissions like accessing tabs and session information, with optional permissions for bookmarks and clipboard data.
TST provides public APIs for other extensions to enhance functionality, with several helper extensions available (e.g., Multiple Tab Handler, TST Auto Group Tabs).
Alternatives to TST include Tree Tabs, Sidebery, Tab Center Reborn, and sidebarTabs, each with different features and design strategies.
